The most important decision any human being, male or female can make in this life, is to come to know Jesus. This is done by asking Him to become Your Lord and Savior, thereby receiving Him into your heart (your spirit man). When the first man Adam disobeyed God in the Garden of Eden all of mankind fell to a life of sin and death under Satan, who was in the body of a serpent. This act of disobedience spiritually separated man from God. But God in His infinite wisdom had a plan of salvation, He sent His son Jesus (The Word) in the flesh, who was fully God and man to redeem all of mankind from spiritual death ( which is eternal damnation in Hell and the Lake of Fire) and connect us back to the Father, Almighty God.
Jesus became the sacrificial lamb when He was crucified and shed His sinless blood at Calvary for all of humanity. He took on all the sins of mankind so that we would not have to suffer eternal separation from God. But we must personally ask him to become our Lord and Savior to partake of that redemption. When we accept Jesus as Lord of our lives, not only do we obtain salvation but we become partakers of Covenant rights that Almighty God promised Abraham back in the book of Genesis. Some of those promises consisted of prosperity blessings and divine protection.
But the new covenant that came into effect after the Resurrection of Jesus was a better covenant, which gave man back the authority he originally had in the garden. We could receive the Holy Spirit, Who would empower us to cast out devils, preach the good news of the Gospel to the nations and lay hands on the sick and they would be healed. But above all we would be partakers of the love Our Heavenly Father and the Lord Jesus Christ had for us.
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 3:16 (KJV)
9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9 (NKJV)
My friend if you would like Jesus to come into your life today, please pray this simple prayer:
Prayer For Salvation
“Jesus, please come into my heart today, I know you shed your precious blood and died for me on the cross at Calvary. I renounce all sin, I renounce the devil, I belong to you now, and you are my Lord and Savior. Thank you for saving me, and I will live my life for you according to your Word. In Jesus name, amen.”
If you have prayed that prayer you now belong to the family of God. All your sins have been forgiven and you have a fresh new start, a new life.
17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold all things are become new. 2 Cor 5:17 (KJV)
Your next step is, if you don’t already have one is get a Bible then find yourself a Bible believing church where the Full Gospel is preached and the Gifts of the Spirit are in operation, get water baptized and receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Below I’ve included several scriptures that explain the topics I was speaking of earlier.
